The City of Claremore hired STUDIOARCHITECTURE to develop a master plan of recently acquired land to improve the overall quality of life for its citizens. The project covered almost 48 acres of land made up of three separate, but adjacent properties. The project scope included gathering existing data and existing conditions, such as utility verification both above and below ground, legal descriptions, zoning restrictions, set back restrictions, and an existing site analysis.
A series of public meetings and open houses were held during each phase of the project to establish goals and visions, develop proposed needs and uses, to look at projected short and long term growth, and to develop a program and budget.
STUDIO then developed site-planning options, discussed various building and facility locations, parking requirements, and recommended land use options. A final plan was presented to the City Council for approval and adoption.
