Donald W. Reynolds of Architecture

Oklahoma State University received grant money from the Donald W. Reynolds Foundation to expand their already nationally renowned architecture school. They needed facilities that would transform them into one of the premier teaching, recruiting, and research architectural schools in the country.

STUDIOARCHITECTURE used the grant money to create 45,000 square feet of new space and 37,000 square feet of renovated space. The design also includes amenities such as a 300-seat auditorium, new multimedia classrooms, a visualization/computer lab, gallery space, an expanded architectural library, design studio space for students, a model shop, and expanded administrative areas to accommodate current and new faculty.

Completion of the new facility coincided with the School of Architecture’s Centennial Anniversary in the spring of 2010. This project won the 2012 AIA Oklahoma Honor Award.
