First Mortgage

Originally completed in 1975, this four-level building had only received minor office renovations over the past 40 years.  The east-facing glass atrium space had become overgrown with tropical plants, obscuring views and complicating numerous level changes.  In addition to opening and modernizing the Atrium, this project also modernizes the freeway-facing front facade, establishes a new covered entryway and balconies to the parking area to the west, and retrofits seismic bracing into the gravity-loaded precast concrete structure.
