STUDIOARCHITECTURE was hired to expand the existing Coney Island restaurant and create the best gameday restaurant experience in Stillwater. The design added a second bar and a large rooftop deck to the existing restaurant, creating outdoor dining and lounge space, complete with outdoor lounge furniture, televisions to watch the Cowboys game, cornhole boards and other activities. STUDIO coordinated with the Owner’s foodservice consultants to layout the restaurant and bar equipment.

Along with the outdoor patio and deck, a pedestrian path cuts through the site to connect gameday hub Washington Street with the Fourth Avenue Parking Garage to the east. Decked out in Oklahoma State University’s orange and black color scheme, the restaurant’s outdoor spaces address the City of Stillwater’s desire to make Washington Street a more pedestrian-friendly location.
